autism , obsessions, and behaviors

The other day i went out shopping with one of my favorite

support staff and another resident and there staff

my staff had promised me since release i could buy the Lego movie

finally i could buy it i was extremely exited stimming all day

hands flapping all over the place at first i was tagging along with this other resident to a cafe then going to town to get the dvd with my staff but the resident decided after the cafe to join us to get some dvds of there own but i was so exited and stimmy i didnt care about the change it was noisy in the cafe covered my ears but my staff singed to me to put my headphones on and all was good again back to stimming madness haha : ) at first i wasnt a fan of the lego movie at all i hated it mostly because it was a big change from the sort of thing i am used to watching and its a completely different kind of movie style for me (the whole moving lego movie thing) after a while i slowly started to like it and then suddenly i was obsessed (mainly with lord/president business) anyways we were going around the supermarket (i hate ASDA soo much) i was carrying my dvd stiming around my staff looked at the other dvds then they noticed a BLUE one !! im EXTREMELY love the colour blue and its even MORE AMAZING if the object of what i am obsessed with is coloured blue also , i just freaked out major stiming jumping vocalizing flapping my staff knows my desire for blue which is why they looked in the first place haha one of the reasons i like that staff so much is because of there dedication and genuine love for there job and that they genuinely care . : ) 

The other resident was taking there time with what they wanted which is where the behaviors started .

 I was so extremely exited i started biting on the dvd with excitement (i often mouth things when im extremely exited) 

 I was beginging to get impatient and "over exited" as both my staff and residents staff started saying biting on the case full on now which was wrapped in its film still my staff decided to take me to the till to get me to pay for it to try and calm me down a bit because i kept signing go , and home over and over and stimming etc 

 I carried it back on the bus i tried to take it back out the bag when the staff paid for it but they said wait until we get out the shop with a smile on there face sort of laughing so they must have not been extremely serious haha .

 Not even getting to the downstairs part of the supermarket i had took it out the bag and nearly fell on my staff going down them stupid flat escalator things that trolleys magnet to by misjudging my getting onto it step staff and  me had a great laugh about that haha 

I carried it all the way even on the bus chewing at it gently my staff had to take it off me until we got back to the home so i didnt break the case ! haha !    when i looked at it that night half the case was completely soaked from my chewing it and dribbling on it (i have poor mouth control)  , i watched this movie loads of times : D 

                                   
                                          ..random note.. 

Zzz......Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.......... At the time of posting its nearly 3AM (2:53) i am extremely tired had sleeping meds blogs are competly new to me and spent 2 and a half hours attempting to post on a horrible slow (the care homes residents computer) computer where i eventually couldnt get anywhere on so switched to my mostly broken laptop

Not exactly something i like talking about with people but i am incontinent 90% of the time my staff etc are working on a care plan to do with me to try and manage it a bit in the day time(never had any help with it since never been getting support from services family been desperate for help ended up been taken away institutionalized in a horrible horrible care home for a year and a half miles and miles away from my family but now moved to a much more caring supported living care home which actually know at least something about autism) night time i have been told will be extremely hard to work on with me and stressful/lots of work for them and me because i dont get 1:1 on a night time (most dont theres just a night shift that goes around the site)    so after a while i will only need to wear them on a night time and on trips out im extremely exited about this !!

autistic friendly incontinence bed protection

This type of bed protection i hate so much , i have major sensory sensitivites with fabrics which is abuslute hell with certian fabrics for me which makes self injury/stimming until moved , took years to find a decent one and not having to spend a lot of money replacing my bed alot less often : ) 

This is my bed.

looks like a ordinary bed dosnt it? its great very discreet which is very important for when visits in my room by people or other residents  : D

This is the odinary bed sheet sort of anoying for me and my staff because it needs changed every day which is a lot of washing the underneath needs changed every 2 - 3 days (i have more than 1)   non stop washing me and my staff have to do at least i like to watch the washing machine and use the washing machine : D
