autism and 'incidents'

This lovely looking suited mans hand here is basically a example of what  my hand looked like a couple of hours ago, to say i was  panicking would be a understatement basically i was trying to wedge something open with a pair of very sharp sizzors and it slipped and went into the thumb on my left hand its hard to remember some of it now i was in the garden sitting on the grass i just remember running down the path i thought "where do i go i need to go fast"  because it was literally pouring out of my thumb i ran to the nearest bungalow home of a young lady with down syndrome i knocked on her door in panic because i knew she has staff until 10 pm (my staff had just left in a taxi literately 10 mins before this happened)  the staff let me in the lady wasnt happy with it saying "its my bungalow" staff phoned the office to come sort out my hand and put a kitchen paper towel over it which was completely covered by time staff come they tried phoning manager but no answer  put a temporary plaster over it took me to office used antibacterial wipe and put a big fabric type plaster over it while i was on my way to the office with the site staff i noticed a large deep cut down my right hand finger so i have a very long plaster over that one

this week has been very crazy ha ha

getting lost inside my own house !!

this has been a huge problem for me since i moved here from my old (horendous!) care home a month ago , i get extremely lost wherever i am and confused and this triggers bevhaviour/anger with me quite quickly

the signs are a huge help (i am bungalow 14 :D ) i dont yet have sings on my front/back garden of my house

the manager is working on signs to put on the front/back of my house to help with this issue

as you can see it is very easy to get lost here haha

i even get lost inside of my house

so the staff made me these to help me on the doors , this is the sitting room

this is the bathroom

this is my bedroom one : )

this is the storage cubord where the coats/staff coats are keeped

this is my kitchen which is easily one of the most confusing rooms in my bungalow haha

i would get extremely angry in the kitchen not being able to comunicate i wanted somthing out of the fridge becuase i couldnt find the fridge so this one is very important for me  !

these are very helpful for me

the main building i can find because it is diffrent from the other buildings and the staff constantly prompt me "look for the clock on top of it" haha

sorry for the bad quality of the pictures it was getting dark when i took them (the other night) so there not the best pictures my phone dosnt have a very good camera anyways

autism and minor meltdowns

the bungols are all made with tough type furniutre in them but this is somwhere they have forgot about

i mangaged to break the heater before i was restrained by staff

the doors etc are extremely tough thick protected but if i had more time (without staff there i mean) i probably could break it

the staff were in that much of a hurry to stop me they damaged the wall next to the front door, it does that when you close it hard without letting go of the handle properly

autism and prompts/reminders

notice anything unusual about this washer ? yes its got a reminder on it , my staff put it there for me see it covers part of the dial so i have to move it to read where the dail is on the number for the washer to set it to wash or dry (wash is 3 dry is 12 the rest i have no idea) so that means i notice it and nearly every single time i do realise it i have forgot to put the soap powder in this is because i never used to use soap powder in the ohter care home because the washing machines were automatic with that with pumps at the backs of them and before that i didnt do my own washing at all (i do it now with help) , so i am not fully aware of the importance of using soap powder/fabric softner etc whatever,

so to help me with this and to save there voice of staffs prompting me (like they used to have to do every time before when i used the washer) the coolest staff of mine who is my favorite  put this on for me so now i almost never forget to put soap powder in only have a couple of times ! compared to literaly every time i used it without prompting.
